Community and School Pride.  We have made significant investments to improve our schools.  With my expereince and leadership, I will deliver the returns we expect from these investments.  Be Proud WBL.

My priorities are driven by facts and results.  Over the last five years, our schools in White Bear Lake have had:

  • Property taxes for school funding increase by 57%

  • Test results decline by one third

  • Enrollment drop by over 400 students

  • Nearly 2,000 students have left the district due to open enrollment and nonpublic schools

In addition,

  • Combined revenue in White Bear Lake schools exceeded inflation by 30% from 2013-2023, driven primarily by a significant increase in tax levies

  • Over that same period, per-pupil funding went from $10,458 to $15,607, and increase of 49.24%

  • Per-pupil funding increased an average of 4.92% per year, 2.36% above the Consumers Price Index (CPI)
